reasons why the top level domain namespace was opened for applications. The
apparent need for .com-equivalents is something CloudNames seeks to meet
with .cloud and .global.
The two gTLDs, .cloud and .global, will be competitors as well as complimentary
to the existing .com top level domain. The new gTLDs will provide companies
with new ways for customers to identify them, their products and services.
